      THOUGHTS OF AN AFRICAN CHILD...

Where would I be? Why was I born? Who am I?

These are some of the questions bordering the minds of an African  born.
The future seems bleak though the leak wasn't seen.

Too quick or too slow, this path runs a track on my mind day in day.

Will I ever be liberated from this mental slavery?

These smiles are too real to be true, yet it is not enough to hide the tears of an African born.
Struggles here and there with little time to calm the state,

Boom! was the sound of fear I heard tearing down grown men.

Words whispered to me says, "you are never going to make it".

Even though there seem to be a breakdown and knockout,
an African born will bounce back.

As for where would I be? It’s definitely going to be the top  regardless of the trials.

Nelson Mandela fought for that same cause,

Some brothers are putting their brothers down and spiting on them,
Oh! my Africa, Rev Martin Luther King jnr once screamed

"I HAVE A DREAM",
and today, we are living that dream.

Go for the GOAL!
